Olympos Diner

Favorite diner. We don’t live in the area but my husband and I are in town several times a year for some family commitments. We first stopped here on a whim probably 5 or 6 years ago, and now stop at least once every time we’re in town. I always get the homemade corned beef hash platter, and my husband often goes with one of the daily specials (he’s a big fan of the southwestern breakfast burrito!). Excellent service, casual vibes, reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

We’ve been living in Meriden for about three years now and have eaten here multiple times, mostly for breakfast — and it never disappoints. The eggs are always prepared perfectly, whether in an omelet or on their own. The home fries are great, and the sausage links, corned beef hash, and French toast are all solid choices. You really can’t go wrong with breakfast here. We’ve also tried lunch, and the burgers are very good, plus they make a great meatloaf. Whether we’re dining in or grabbing food to go, the quality is always consistent. The staff is friendly and caring, which makes the experience even better. If you’re in the area and want some good comfort food, this is definitely a place worth stopping into. We’ll be back again for breakfast or lunch soon!

We stopped by on our road trip and it was inexpensive, fast, and delicious. I am very picky about eggs Benedict and it was done perfectly. My home fries were well done just like I asked. My husband got the pancakes and they were great classic fluffy pancakes. Amazing, solid diner food. Nothing crazy or innovative, just great classic food

This is a great diner...been going here for years. The food is delicious and the service is great. Chrissie and Tommy and Aaron do a wonderful job....we feel welcomed every time we stop there!! Great tasting food at great prices !

Small old school diner serving up super fresh eggs, great home fries and a solid cup of Joe. Note to manager: your customers don’t want to hear you yelling over the phone at some energy service provider regarding a contract dispute while we try to enjoy our breakfast. Take it outside or to your office and close the door.

Hubby and I were nearby and decided to grab breakfast at this really small and cute diner with lots of parking in front, side and back. We didn’t know what to expect but there were already many patrons seated and it seemed some of them were regulars. The service was very warm, efficient, and personable. Our food and beverage were hot, fresh and delicious. And the prices were cheaper than the competition further down the street.

Gosh we loved the cozy compact atmosphere. Place was clean and music was on which not to loud! Food was served with big portions as expected and server was very nice lady who continually checked on us! Crab burger was juicy and flavorful!! Must try if you are into crab ! Food was reasonably priced!

If you're driving near here... Do yourself a favor and stop in. I rarely use superlatives, but this was the best omelet I have ever had. True diner feel, staff was interacting with customers while serving. Enjoy your stop here!
